I'M BAAAACK!

Hello ladles and jellyspoons, I have finally returned to this webbed site after a long break. It was completely absolutely on purpose, so stop asking. Thanks!

So, some updates.

My dad is in jail! How wonderful.
My auntie, bless her heart, was so stressed out about the whole thing that I roped my partner into taking me to our city centre to look for his car for 5 hours. We stayed out until gone 3AM, and it took a lot of energy from the both of us.

In other news, my best friend has his first ever official date today! How exciting!
It's with a real person, and she seems really cool. I am hoping it goes really well for him, because he has a bad history of being with people who are Not Ideal in most ways. Apart from me, of course. (context- we were once together and it was a fine relationship, we just weren't built for it with eachother. We're basically the same person but nudged in different directions, so being in a relationship is WEIRD.)

ANYWAYS! They're going out for coffee and probably food, this person has travelled a while to get here so we're hoping it goes well enough for her to stay in the spare room tonight.
ISN'T THAT WILD? WE HAVE A SPARE ROOM. THAT WE CAN LET PEOPLE USE. That's still so crazy to me. I think I forget a lot about how wild it is that we're all functionally teenagers in our twenties who have somehow managed to bag the best house in our area. Crazy times we live in.

After all the stupid stuff with my dad, sorting out family holidays, and trying to decorate our house the way we best see fit (it's difficult with renter friendly stuff right now), I think today will hopefully be a reality check for us. It's not very often people our age get to see how we live, and we're very privileged to live here the way we do.
Only while writing this did I realise how weird the spelling of 'privileged' is. Do you see that shit? That looks wrong to me, and I'm a damn good speller.

Anyways, thanks for reading up until this point. I'm gonna do some more work on the homepage, I might just try some new and weird shit to see what looks cool to me. Might fuck around with the layout a bit, see if I can find some cooler ways to make it look like the old-school websites I loved as a kid.
